Fun Family Holiday in Tasmania
- July 20th, 2011
Family holidays are an important part of life. Spending time with those we love and care about is something that we need to work hard at doing.
We recently travelled to Tasmania in the southern part of Australia and enjoy a week’s vacation. It was so nice to just kick back and forget about all of our responsibilities back home.
We had fun visiting some of the historic attractions such as Richmond Bridge and the Port Arthur Historic convict-built ruins.
While in Richmond we stopped in at the Old Hobart Town model display. We enjoyed seeing how Hobart was back in the 1820’s. Life for the convicts, the soldiers and the free-settlers was not easy.
We had a relaxing time and got to see a lot in the week. We realised though that there is still much to see and so we will be definitely be back in the future for another fun family holiday in Tassie.
